An estimated 25% of the world's population identify themselves as Muslim, and although they come from diverse cultures, languages, and ethnicities, they are unified by their basic shared belief. A common misconception is that all Muslims are Arab and vice versa. In reality, only 17% of Muslims are Arab, less than the number of Muslims that reside in Indonesia alone. As the demographics suggest, Islam is notrace, gender, or color specific, rather it is a lifestyle anyone can adopt if they choose.
