Human curiosity has been the impetus for all intellectual excursions since the beginning of time. As children we are curious to discern between colors and shapes, and when we are mature, we are curious to discern between right and wrong and falsehood and truth. In each phase of our lives, we as humans attempt to decipher the illusions that are oftentimes constructed in order to understand reality and that is precisely what propels us into the future.
Today Islam is under the spotlight, and its’ adherents and vast cultures seem to be monolithically categorized, resulting in a construction contrary to reality. The terms Islam and Muslims do not point towards a single group of people representative of a whole, but rather encompasses 1.4 billion adherents that range in location, ideology, and ethnicity. However, our understanding of this vast civilization has been disseminated through narrow lenses that do not present accurate information.
Our intention with this website is to provide an accurate depiction of the tenants of Islam while also giving insight into the vast cultures embodied within this tradition. Knowledge is one desire that is never truly satiated, so if you would like to request more information or have further questions, please contact us.
